SMS AUTOMATION SERVERContact M:Science about SMS Automation Server » The M:Science SMS Automation Server provides a graphical interface and building-block style toolset that enables administrators to build and manage complex processes that connect information systems to any number of service offerings. M:Science SMS Automation Server is based on the central concepts of Tasks and Tools, which in turn provide the ability to build ultimately flexible automations processes within a design framework of logical building blocks. These building blocks integrate seamlessly with existing information sources, applications, infrastructures and communication systems, without the need for complex programming. The functional components of the product are provided as ‘Plug-Ins’, so that the breadth of functionality on any implementation can be easily expanded as and when required. TasksA ‘Task’ is the primary entity within M:Science SMS Automation Server and represents part or all of the distinct services deliverable. Each ‘Task’ provides a visual planner and drag-and-drop developer objects (Tools) to aid with the process design. ToolsIn combination with each Task there are further objects called ‘Tools’. Tools fall into 6 distinct categories, Event, Input, Format, Output, Execute and General. These Tools form the functional building blocks that interface with common technologies, systems and applications. ‘Tools’ expose and consume information to and from each other and by using ‘Tools’ in varying combinations there is complete flexibility for delivering a wide range of SMS services.
